The city of Austin is growing at an unprecedented rate. Although once known as a city within a park, today every city council district is park deficient. EverGreen Austin works to mitigate climate change and restore our quality of life by protecting and acquiring open space and using green infrastructure wherever possible.

We need you to help us create a public demand for a better balance between green and grey in our city, for a protected and permanent fund to acquire green space, and for an equitable, robust response to climate change. For too long, the lure of unrestrained growth has dominated city hall. Help us remind our elected officials of the beauty, biodiversity, and green spaces that once defined our city and brought so many of us here in the first place.
